Refrigeration With the Right Size and Ideal Temperature

SUMMIT has been supplying refrigerators and freezers to the medical, laboratory, pharmacy and scientific markets for four decades. Our product line includes the largest assortment of compact and undercounter built-in models with locks in the industry, the largest assortment of no-frost models in every size class from compact refrigerators and freezers to chest or upright freezers from 5 to 25 cubic feet, and new reach-in models from 23 to 50 cubic feet. We also carry a diverse line of all-refrigerators from 1.8 up to 49 cubic feet.

Our products also incorporate the features many users need to meet an array of regulatory requirements, including optional or standard locks on all models, available exterior temperature readouts, temperature warning alarms, hospital grade plugs and self-closing doors. Many of our models meet NSF standards and are Calcode compliant.

We have the largest selection of models for ADA counters, a number of units that are ENERGY STAR listed, and low temperature freezers in a range of sizes and temperatures.

A Cooler Freeze

SUMMIT low temperature chest freezers include optional ice banks installed inside the walls for temperature stability. Lab testing showed that these units maintained temperatures below freezing for 42 hours after the power had been turned off.

Advanced Security

An optional digital keypad lock ensures that only authorized users have access to the contents of refrigerators and freezers. Plus, the safety of a keyless door allows a medical or laboratory staff to be conveniently key-free. Ask your SUMMIT representative about installing a keypad on most refrigerator and freezer units.

A Safer Surface

SUMMIT can treat stainless steel units with Agion® antimicrobial coating, a natural compound that releases silver ions to attack bacteria, fungi, and molds. Independent studies show that Agion® coatings reduce the growth of destructive microbes by 99%.

MED Series Compacts

All units from our MED series are equipped with NIST traceable thermometers, high temperature alarms, and hospital grade cords. Designed to maintain stable temperatures, these refrigerators and freezers can be specially fitted for specific medical functions, with options that include internal fans, keypad locks, and more.

SUMMIT's series of reach-in refrigerators and freezers come in one and two-door models. All are constructed from 304 grade stainless steel for an easy-to-clean surface built to last for years of quality service. Digital thermostat and lock are standard. The self-closing doors are perfect for use in self-serve cafeterias, where customers may not always close refrigerator and freezer doors with care. All units are commercially approved.
